DATE OF ISSUE

Adamatu is a bilingual journal published in Arabic and English. The first issue was published in January 2000.Our next issue will appear in July 2000,thereafter Adumatu will be published every six months accordingly.  

CONTRIBUTION

Please address all manuscript submissions, editorial queries, comments and views to the editorial board The Editorial Board of ADUMATU welcomes your participation and encourages contributions on all relevant topics

 

1-       Submitted manuscripts must be written in Arabic or English and should be typed on A4 size paper, along with a 3.5 floppy disk typed on an IBM compatible PC using Microsoft Word 6 or any updated version of it. Acopy of submitted work can also be sent via e-mail .

2-       Tow abstracts, one in Arabic and one in English , should be submitted; they should not exceed more than 100 words each.

3-       Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously elsewhere, further, accepted manuscripts cannot be published elsewhere; without prior written permission from the Editorial Board.

4-       The text should not exceed 5.000 words; photos, illustrations, and graphs.....etc.should not exceed more than 30% of the text.

5-       Photos: B & W photos printed on glossy paper are preferred; they must be suitable for publication.

6-       Maps, figures and illustrations should be drawn with China ink on tracing paper, and their captions should be submitted on a separate sheet.

7-       References mentioned in the text should be put in brackets at the end of the sentence ,as follows: (Owen 1998: 11)

8-       Notes (Comments) should be arranged at the end of the text, followed by References which should be arranged alphabetically at the end of the text, as follows:

9-       Authors will be provided with twenty- five offprints and a copy of the jornal, free of charge.

10-    Submitted manuscripts will not be returned to their respective authors, whether published or not.

11-    A brief c.v. and the present address of the author shoul accompany submitted manuscripts.
